2016 Honda CR-V
Mileage71,309Service Date6/2/2026Services Performed- Findings: Verified customer concern during road test and suspension inspection. Found both front sway bar end links worn with excessive play and torn dust boots, causing the rattling noise when driving over potholes, uneven road surfaces, and speed bumps. Additionally, found the left front strut leaking hydraulic fluid, indicating internal strut failure. Due to the failure of the left front strut and the mileage/operating conditions of the vehicle, replacement of both front strut assemblies is recommended to ensure proper ride quality, handling, and suspension performance. Recommendation: Recommend replacement of both front sway bar end links and both front strut assemblies. Following repairs, recommend performing a four-wheel alignment to restore proper suspension geometry and help prevent premature tire wear.
- STABILIZER BAR CONTROL LINK – Remove & Replace – Both – Reemplazar ambos enlaces de la barra estabilizadora.
- STRUT ASSEMBLY – Removal & Installation – Both – Reemplazar ambos conjuntos de puntal (strut assemblies).
